Plan Options

Our dining plans are designed to offer convenience, variety, and value while enhancing your campus experience. We provide flexible options for resident students, commuters, faculty, and staff. With a wide range of dining locations and choices available, your meal plan gives you the freedom to eat where and how you want. Where will your meal plan take you?

Central Eats has crafted specialty meal plans to meet your dining needs. Meal swipes provide access to our Memorial Hall and Hilltop dining locations. Flex Dollars can be used at our retail locations, including Devil’s Den, Starbucks, and Central Market. Blue Chip Dollars function as campus currency and can be used at any of our dining locations. To switch your meal plan or learn how to purchase one, visit your MyHousing portal through ResLife or email reslife@ccsu.edu.

All students living on campus are required to have a resident meal plan. First-year students must choose either the Blue Devil Essential or Blue Devil Essential Plus plan. Transfer students and upperclassmen may choose from any of the available resident meal plan options.

Flex Dollars expire at the end of each semester; they will not roll over into the following semester.

Commuters may also choose from any of the Residential Meal Plans. Residential plans offer added flexibility and include Flex Dollars that can be used at Central Market, Devil’s Den, and Starbucks.

Flex Dollars are tax-exempt funds loaded onto your Central ID Card and can be used at on-campus retail dining locations, including Devil’s Den, Starbucks, and Central Market at Willard-DiLoretto. These funds can also be used to purchase a meal at Memorial Hall and Hilltop Café.

Flex Dollars are included with resident meal plans and are added at the beginning of each semester. Please note that these funds are use-it-or-lose-it. Flex Dollars cannot be reloaded, do not roll over, and will expire at the end of each semester, regardless of any remaining balance.

We strongly encourage you to monitor and use your balance throughout the semester. You can check your remaining Flex Dollars online or by asking a cashier at any dining location.
