Yes, all CCSU residents must have a Meal Plan. You will select your meal plan when you register for on-campus housing.
Yes, commuters, faculty & staff may purchase a Meal Plan. We offer 3 block style plans to accommodate any schedule.
In our Resident Dining locations, Memorial Hall and Hilltop Café, we offer a large variety of Vegan and Vegetarian options. We also have a specified station called "Simple Servings" that excludes milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, and gluten from our daily menus. There are Guest Meal Passes included in all of our Resident Dining plans. You may also use Flex Dollars or Blue Chip to pay for the Casual Meal Rates.
You can use Blue Chip dollars at Vending Machines on campus.
You can check your Flex Dollar balance here. Flex Dollars expire at the end of each semester.
Flex Dollars come on every Resident Dining Plan. You may use Flex Dollars at any of our dining locations on campus. Blue Chip may be used for purchases at all CCSU Dining locations as well as additional locations on and off campus (Student Center-Book Store, laundry and more).
Flex Dollars do not carry over at the end of each semester. The remaining balance will be lost.

Yes, you can plan an event through the CCSU Catering Department. We offer a "shoestring menu" to select student groups on campus.
